I met this sweet couple from New Zealand a long time ago when they were vacationing in Phuket and looking for wedding venues. And also during that trip Chris & Bianca were volunteering at the Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket for a whole week and taking care of the puppies and dogs there (info about that below).
They were married last week at Marriott Merlin Beach Resort near Patong & it was an absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. Here are a few images and we are busy editing the rest ~ photography by Jaran + second shooter.
SOI DOG FOUNDATION INFO: Chris & Bianca were very devoted and spent a whole week at the non-profit Soi Dog Foundation. They also welcome day visitors to the center in Mai Khao, Phuket from Monday to Friday all year round to have a guided tour. Guided tours are four times a day and guides will tell you about the history of Soi Dog Foundation, how they are fighting the dog meat trade in Asia, introduce you to some of the 720 animals being rehabilitated and show you around the cat and dog hospitals. After the guided tours, you will be welcome to play with some of the puppies and older dogs, and to socialise with the cats. A great way to do some good during your holiday to Phuket.
