Dan & Daniel from Hong Kong had a gorgeous wedding day at the InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort recently and the whole team were there to cover the Chinese and Western wedding ceremonies except me because I was far too pregnant at that time to go anywhere. I wished I could have been there but the next best thing was seeing Jaran’s amazing photos and Khun Tong’s videography and I could tell them had the perfect day. Jaran also spent a day doing a pre-wedding shoot a few months earlier as the couple viewed venues. I was meaning to blog that first but forgot. A bit backwards but will post some of those photos next week because they are gorgeous bridal images.
On the wedding day it rained a little but the ceremony was still able to be outdoors. At one point though the best man was holding the bamboo gazebo up as it was looking like it might fly away. This is the reason many couples, mostly Asian, prefer to take their wedding portraits on a different day. And also they had so much going on that day and so many outfit changes that time was limited.
The resort is wonderful. Baan Taling Ngam means home on a beautiful cliff. Perfectly positioned on a cliff with prime beachfront, the resort has 79 guest-rooms, suites and beachfront villas with private plunge pools, and feature impressive views across the famous Five Islands”and Angthong National Park ~ photography by Jaran.
