Rebekkah and Lee had a lovely wedding at Marriott Merlin Beach Resort near Patong in Phuket. The couple from Melbourne were surrounded by fun-loving friends and family who celebrated the big day with them along with their two young children.
Lisa and her team did the bride’s hair and make-up. The boys were down to the ceremony area at Marriott Merlin Beach early to enjoy a bucket in true Thailand style. The ceremony was decorated with white orchids and roses and candles lining the aisle. After a beautiful ceremony the wedding couple hit the beach for photos and video before joining guests for cocktail hour then dinner. Then the party and celebrating was on!
There has been quite a major change at the resort recently. The iconic white pagoda that the ceremonies were held at has been removed. It was hard to image the scene without it but actually it looks much better without it I think. A more modern landscape that is a more dramatic backdrop for the wedding. I’ll blog another wedding there soon showing what it looks like.
