A Katathani wedding in Phuket is always beautiful and Lynsey & Joe’s was certainly no exception.
The UK couple love details and so do we. See below for lovely photos of decorations, flowers, signage, personal touches like a dragon fly sewn into the wedding veil and the most amazing travel-themed wedding cake you could imagine.
Lynsey’s beautiful long hair was suited to a long flowing veil. She was so stunning as her father proudly walked her down the aisle after he put on his personalized socks the bride gifted him. Thoughtful and funny. And Joe the groom, was very handsome in his tailored navy suit. He never stopped smiling. One of the most hands-on grooms I’ve dealt with for a while. He had happily taken care of many of the arranging and decision making for the Katathani wedding.
The couple requested an unplugged wedding ceremony at Katathani. I’m happy this is becoming more well-known and requested by the bride and groom. Especially for big weddings it’s much easier to photograph without the guests moving around and snapping photos on their mobile devices. And more enjoyable for the guests too if they are present in the moment to enjoy the wedding ceremony.
A friend and guest was the celebrant and she did a great job of conducting the ceremony. I’m not sure if she knew the baby elephant would be walking down the aisle at the conclusion of the wedding.
Everyone had tropical cocktails at sunset while the bridal party had wedding photos on the beach.
The reception was fun and festive with great food and music. The night was ended perfectly with a fun Phuket fire show on the beach including L & J fire initials and romantic sparkler send off for the newlyweds ~ cake & fire initials & show supplied by Thai Do Weddings, photography by Jaran.
